Moderation Rules & Guidelines
Abstract
Exploiting or abusing the game is a serious offense. Moderators may put a blacklist in place to uses who do not follow the rules.
When adequate evidence has been collected, mods are free to punish users within the protocols of these guidelines. The length and severity of punishments depends on the circumstances of each individual case. If given case is severe enough, the punishment may be accordingly increased. Each case is ultimately up to the moderators discretion.
Provided below are examples of potential ban worthy offenses. Certain cases may arise that are not outlined in the following rules. It is up to the moderation team to determine the proper case of action in these given situations.
Disclaimer
- The rules and guidelines listed are subject to change at any given time.
- The word of the moderation team is final unless stated otherwise.
- Players will NOT receive compensation for money/currency spent on the game prior to the time of their blacklist.
- Alternate accounts are subject to all blacklists.
- Players who purchase unreleased maps and get “world record” will not receive a whitelist. This also applies to new maps that have just come out. If your time is still the WR within a few days after release you may be whitelisted.

Rules
1. If any account's age is under one month old and makes it into pending, it will be blacklisted unless the identity of the of account is confirmed to be a legitimate player's account.
2. Only one alternate account per world record holder (Verify with a mod which account you would like to keep).
3. Both FPS Unlocker* and Turn binds* are allowed in bhop and surf.
4. Players cannot get a whitelisted alt for an already blacklisted player. The alt and all known associated accounts with both players will be blacklisted if this rule is broken.
Blacklistable offenses
Upon first offense any accounts found to be belonging to said user will be blacklisted. Alternate accounts will be subject to the same blacklist reasons as the original offending account.
Users can (but not likely) get a second chance. Users are eligible to be whitelisted once again upon further investigation of their actions. If they are found to be in good standing after this period they will get the chance to be whitelisted again.
After a second cheating offense any accounts found to be belonging to said user will be blacklisted indefinitely.
Appealable (1.1)*
1. Cheating
In the event that a player is found to be using external assitance they will be issued a blacklist to their account
- Exploits included in this list are:
- Autostrafe*
- Gains*
- Timescale*
- Nulls*
- VR*
- Angle changing*
2. Autoscroll
The use of hyperscroll* or Macros* to scroll for you.
3. Alternate accounts
New accounts made or used to cheat, or accounts that were made by an already blacklist user.
- Using alternate accounts to evade bans is a ban worthy offense that may lead to additional punishments in addition to the first offense.
- If you are caught cheating on an alternate account, all known accounts that you are associated with will be blacklisted as well.
Alternate accounts by non-blacklisted players (as of November 29th, 2020).
- Alternate accounts are no longer allowed and will be blacklisted with the exception of alts whitelisted before November 29th, 2020.
- Players will receive warnings for using alternate accounts. Repeatedly breaking this rule may result in one's main account being blacklisted.
- Any alternate accounts that were granted immunity should no longer be used. If you use an alternate account that was already whitelisted to get times after November 29th, 2020 it can be blacklisted.
4. Account sharing (as of August 5th, 2020)
Sharing your account with another player.
- Any account with multiple users is subject to this rule.
- Boosting other players (getting times for them on their account) is also subject to this rule.
- All players involved in a shared account can potentially be blacklisted for breaking this rule, but especially the account owner themselves.
Warnable (1.2)*
5. Edge boosting*
Abusing the edges of any platform or part in order to gain any amount of speed.

Abusing the edge of any platform or part to abuse the game mechanics and get extra height
- This general includes bounces used only to do map skips
7. Map Skips/Glitches
Any skip that involves clipping through a part or exiting the boundaries of a map is forbidden. This also includes bouncing* up to skip another part of the map.
- List of example maps that have blacklistable skips (1.3)*

11. Passing through an anti cheat by standing in the start zone and anti cheat at the same time in order to abuse any teleports or skips is against the rules.
12. Leaving the start zone and re-entering the start zone to gain a height advantage at the start of the map
- As a general rule, if you have to surf on a ramp to get on top of the anti telehop it is not allowed. Example: Cryogen
- Height advantages where one does not have to leave the start zone (Example: Hyperspeed) are allowed
13. Edgeing spawns and then touching triggers to spawn further on the spawn is not allowed. Example: Old lemon triggerskip

1.1
The blacklistable offenses under the appealable section are offenses that will result in the player being blacklisted on sight, and can be appealed through talking with a mod or submitting an appeal on the appeals form.
1.2
The blacklistable offenses under the warnable section are offenses that are not as serious as the offenses under the appealable section. Reasons for this include them being able to be done on accident, a gray area over what is considered a skip, or general decided by moderators to be warnable.
